Fashion designer and dear friend Omar Valladolid wearing pieces of his own collection. I love the overlapping of monochromatic layers and the use of a long t-shirt as a dress/skirt.

Diseñador y gran amigo Omar Valladolid, usando piezas de su propia colección. Me encanta la sobreposición monocromática de capas y el uso de su camiseta larga modo de vestido/ falda.

It's a little difficult to find great peruvian designers for men's clothing. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of extremely talented designers in Peru, but most of them design for women. That's why I'm happy to show some of Omar Valladolid's work. He is self taught and fabulous. His work in powerful and chic at the same time. He is one of the designers to watch.

Es algo difícil encontrar grandes diseñadores peruanos para ropa masculina. No me malinterpreten, hay gran talento en la moda peruana, pero la mayoría de diseñadores crean ropa de mujer. Por eso me hace muy feliz poder mostrarles algo del trabajo de Omar Valladolid. Él es autodidacta y eso me parece fabuloso. Su trabajo es transgresor y chic a la vez. Él es uno de los diseñadores que debemos tener presentes, porque seguiremos viendo grandes cosas de él.

I like the simplicity of his outfit, but when you look closely you'll see the details. I specially like his denim jacket with simple but interesting cuts (his own design).
