My new babies

I got them yesterday. My oh-so-perfect boots. I wore this design [in black] for Katha Puga's 2011 campaign [see the pics here] and she made these boots specially for me, giving me the exclusivity of this color combination.

I love them so much, I feel like a child in Christmas. This is exactly the statement piece I needed to start my 2011 wardrobe.

Las adoro realmente, me siento como una niña en Navidad. Esto es exactamente lo que necesitaba para iniciar mi guardarropa del 2011.

Shoe Addiction: Finsk Pony skin wooden wedge shoe

I first saw these shoes being worn by Andy from StyleScrapbook, I just fell a chill, and inexplicable urge. These are not shoes, ladies and gentlemen, these are pieces of art!

These Finsk pony skin wooden wedge shoes are really avant-garde, yet wearable, a very unusual combination. Oh yes! I could imagine myself wearing these shoes, walking around Miraflores with such proud. Sadly, I don't have 451 euros  laying around right now (I'll just have to settle with the pictures for now, the cruel reality).

But lets talk about the designer of such beautiful pieces now. Finnish born Julia Lundsten is considered one of the best shoe designers in England; her brand, Finsk, was launched in 2004 and already the FINSK wooden wedge shoe is renowned and considered an icon of our times. 

Coming from a design oriented family (her father is an architect and her mother an interior designer) she clearly seeks inspiration in architecture, furniture and some structures found in nature.

My new obsession: Miu Miu Spring 2010 shoes

I just can't tell you enough how much I'm loving the shoes from Miu Miu's spring collection. They are just perfect. Playful but elegant. The fun patterns give those beautifully shaped shoes a more funky feel. The wide-chunky heels are a little retro but the shape of the shoes are really modern. the material also adds up a more elegant look: satin in bright colors, it's just too beautiful. I'm also really glad that clogs are back! and..oh yes! in satin and with the print of the season. Comfort meets chic, all the way.

I'm in love...with the most amazing shoes ever

I'm so in love with these shoes. 
Milliner Phillip Treacy showed that he can design more than hats. And... OMG he CAN design such dreamy shoes! This is part of the collection that the irish artist made for Valentino. Tulle, cristal and stilettos. This is a romantic, elegant and dramatic combination.
I know I will be dreaming about this shoes for a long time. How do you like them?
