Happy President's Day! For those of you who are not working today, I hope you are enjoying your day off; I know I would love to be in my bed watching movies right now! After almost 2 years, I haven't gotten used to San Francisco's weather, so today I'm cold and a little grumpy. But thinking of what I would like to wear on a sunny day helps! these are some of the looks I'm craving today... sun, please come soon, I miss you.

I really like this photo I took of my friend Alejandra at Ale Petersen's fashion show. The subtle light, the glass of champagne, the leaves painted on the wall and her gray vintage blazer work perfect together.

Natsumi, the levitating photographer

Natsumi Hayashi levitates through life. Or at least she seems to, in her series of levitating self-portraits.

“I wanted to express myself in the picture as someone free from Earth’s gravitational pull,” Natsumi says. “In being free of gravity in the pictures, I am also not bound to societal conventions. I feel as though I am not tied to many things and able to be my true self.”

Natsumi photographs herself in different parts of Tokyo, levitating through different activities. The pictures are not only very natural looking, but they are also very beautiful. The places, poses, colors and compositions are beautiful, her personal style is very cute, very japanese . You can see more of her series on her blog.

I get excited

I get excited every time I meet a new designer with wonderful ideas. Today I met Marisa Fuentes Prado. I usually like to write more, analyze, critique, etc... but the stunning pictures speak for themselves. I'm also excited to tell you that these beauties will be in my store (TREND STUDIO) next week.

Me emociono cada vez que conozco a un diseñador nuevo con ideas geniales. Hoy día conocí a Marisa Fuentes Prado. Usualmente escribo más, de hecho me gusta describir y opinar por montones, pero creo que estas fotos hablan por sí mismas (adoré la dirección de arte, por la misma Marisa). También me emociono al contarles que estas bellezas van a estar en mi tienda (TREND STUDIO) la próxima semana.
