Sarah Burton did a great job with this collection. It was true to McQueen's aesthetic with her own feminine touch. The pieces from the collection seamed to be part of a very elaborate, beautiful dream.

I haven't  been able to go out that much lately and take pictures for the blog so I thought it would fun to make some drawings of my favorites outfits from the runways. I present you Michan, my lucky alter-ego who gets to wear all those beautiful clothes.

They all get dressed for Bill

I finally got around to se Bill Cunningham New York. A very insightful documentary about one of the most influential street style photographers (you can see videos of his his page in the New York Times here). The whole thing was really inspiring, I just loved his view on fashion and how he doesn't consider himself a professional photographer but a mere recorder of what's happening on the streets. At some point he says something that really stayed with me, "fashion is the armor to survive everyday life".

By the end of the documentary you feel like you know this charming man and his love for what he does. I was smiling through the film, it's just lovely.
